You should see your bridesmaids jewelry as their gift?

Many couples choose to give their bridesmaids wedding jewelry to wear on the day that also serves as their bridesmaids gift does. But your bridesmaids deserve a separate gift?
Well if money is no object then it would be great to get them jewelry to accessorize their bridesmaids outfits and then a separate date but for many couples it is an area where they save money so they can double the bridesmaids jewelry as their bridesmaids gift. So a few if you decide that this is an area where you can save your wedding budget should you feel bad?

Well it depends on, are you planning to give the ushers and the best man cufflinks to wear on the day or something funny as novelty boxer shorts and then give them a gift on the wedding reception? If the answer is Yes, then there is not a double standard for the bridesmaids, just like the men they deserve something extra too. As the only gift your ushers and the best man gets is given to them at the wedding reception to say thank you, then it is perfectly acceptable to give your bridesmaids wedding jewelry to wear on the day and reference to it on the wedding reception instead of them a separate bridesmaids gift.

Weddings are one of those occasions where you can easily offend someone by not thinking things through so if in doubt, ask yourself would I not offended the I received my bridesmaid jewelry as a wedding gift? And you find that you have your answer.
If you're really trying to save money on your wedding day there are better ways to try to save money instead of 1.36 presents on your bridal parties, consider a less bridesmaid and a less usher, this only saves you hundreds in outfits.
